Today, the South Korea chapter of the Baloch National Movement (BNM) held a peaceful demonstration in Busan City to protest the ongoing crackdown on the leaders and activists of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC). The protest aimed to shed light on the continued oppression faced by Baloch activists who are peacefully advocating for their fundamental rights and a life of dignity in #Balochistan.
Protesters delivered speeches in Korean to raise awareness among the local population and highlighted the alarming human rights violations taking place in Balochistan. Slogans were chanted condemning the Pakistani state’s brutal suppression of Baloch voices and demanding justice.
The demonstrators called for the immediate release of prominent activists, including Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Beebo Baloch, Bebagr Baloch, Shah Jee Baloch, Gulzadi Baloch, and others who have been unjustly detained.
In addition, hundreds of informational pamphlets were distributed to educate the public about the enforced disappearance of Dr. Mahrang Baloch and the wider campaign of repression targeting peaceful Baloch activists.
