His father\u2019s name is Muhammad Usman and his mother\u2019s name Hair Bibi. He received his early education in his native village and then matriculation from Karachi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Menaz, like many other mountainous villages of Balochistan, was a place where life was harsh and local disputes were common. In such an environment where power, wealth, and influence often dictated one\u2019s position, Shaukat grew up witnessing the challenges and contradictions of rural life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite these difficulties, his unique temperament and strong willpower made him stand out from an early age. In late 1990s, he moved to the United Arab Emirates seeking a better and more comfortable life, where he initially faced unemployment but later secured a position in a bank and later started a small private business of his own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During his years in the UAE, Shaukat established ties across social, political, and literary circles. He hosted and interacted with many notable personalities from Balochistan, and through these interactions, his interest in politics began to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-murder-of-iltaf-buledi-and-shaukat-s-return-to-balochistan\">The Murder of Iltaf Buledi and Shaukat\u2019s Return to Balochistan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>While Shaukat was finding his footing in the political landscape , Balochistan\u2019s situation was rapidly changing. The emergence of BSO (Azad) and the Baloch National Movement (BNM) revitalized the spirit of Baloch nationalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the martyrdom of Shaheed Akbar Khan Bugti on August 26, 2006, the national movement witnessed a historic resurgence. Two years later, on August 26, 2008, the Baloch National Front (BNF)\u2014an alliance of pro-independence parties, announced a public gathering in Turbat to mark Bugti\u2019s second death anniversary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was brutally suppressed by the Frontier Corps (FC), a paramilitary wing of the Pakistani Army. During the ensuing protest rally, BNM activist Iltaf Buledi, brother-in-law of Shaukat, was killed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iltaf\u2019s martyrdom deeply transformed Shaukat\u2019s views. He realized that without resistance against the Pakistani state and the pursuit of national independence, the survival of the Baloch nation was impossible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Determined to contribute to the freedom struggle, Shaukat gave up all his business activities abroad and returned home. He dedicated his life and resources to the Baloch national cause. He was soon elected as the President of BNM\u2019s Kech Region, participated in the 2010 Party\u2019s Central Council Session, and was elected as a Central Committee member, a position reaffirmed in the 2014 council session also.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-contribution-to-literature-and-ideological-media\">Contribution to Literature and Ideological Media<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shaukat Buledi held a deep affection for books, writing, and literature. Though not widely known as a writer himself, he played a pioneering role in the ideological and media front of the Baloch national movement. In daily Tawar, some of his articles were published by the name of Chakar Baloch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2009, he founded Sangar Publications, nurturing it into an influential literary and political platform. He launched the monthly magazine &#8216; Sangar &#8216; and facilitated the publication of numerous ideological and political activists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite adverse circumstances, and in line with party directives, he moved to a foreign country, where he continued his work quietly. There, he utilized digital media to bring the voice of the Baloch national movement to a global audience through Sangar Media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under his guidance , Radio Sangar, monthly and annual journals, and reports on Baloch martyrs were compiled and published, documents that have since become essential references in Baloch national media and history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-national-responsibilities-in-exile\">National Responsibilities in Exile<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following party instructions, Shaukat settled in a foreign land, where he continued his mission under difficult circumstances. On the media and communication front, he built bridges between Baloch and other oppressed nations, ensuring that the message of freedom transcended borders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Working in anonymity, he remained part of the movement\u2019s vanguard, tirelessly contributing to the national cause. Through sheer determination, he played a crucial role in the movement\u2019s progress and continuity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-illness-assassination-attempt-and-death\">Illness, Assassination Attempt, and Death<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Exile, life in a foreign land, and separation from loved ones are challenges few ordinary people can endure. Yet, Shaukat Buledi turned these hardships into strength, guided by his unwavering commitment to the national cause and the goals of the movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During his years abroad, he built a close circle of friends and continued to support and assist his fellow activists. His dynamic and visible role in the movement, however, made him a target of the ISI agents, who attempted to assassinate him twice\u2014in May 2024 and again in August 2024. In these attacks, he sustained serious injuries to his back, left arm, and head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to his continued activism, his family members in Balochistan and wife and children were also harassed and threatened by officials of the Pakistan Army and its intelligence agencies, warning them of severe consequences. Despite these threats and dangers, Shaukat never wavered from his mission, remaining steadfast in his dedication to the freedom struggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although he later developed stomach and liver complications, he refused to slow down and remained engaged in his duties. Over time, his condition worsened, and he was admitted to intensive care for an extended period. After partial recovery, he returned home, weak but resolute, and soon resumed his national responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On October 4, 2025, while spending time with friends, he suddenly fell critically ill due to internal bleeding and was taken to a local hospital, where he could not survive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is suspicion that Pakistani intelligence operatives may have poisoned him with a slow-acting toxin, leading to severe liver and stomach damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-tribute\">Tribute<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In an official statement, the Baloch National Movement (BNM) spokesperson said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cWith the passing of Shaukat Buledi, BNM has lost a pioneering
