Today, the Baloch National Movement (BNM) South Korea Zone organized a peaceful demonstration to mark seventeen years since the disappearance of Dr. Deen Mohammad Baloch and to express solidarity with all missing persons from Balochistan.protest was held to remember Dr. Deen Mohammad Baloch, who disappeared on 28 June 2009 and whose family continues to seek information regarding his fate and whereabouts. Seventeen years have passed, yet his loved ones continue to wait for truth, justice, and accountability.
During the demonstration, participants carried banners, placards, and posters demanding justice for Dr. Deen Mohammad Baloch and all missing persons. Protesters raised their voices against enforced disappearances and called for greater international attention to the suffering of affected families.
The demonstration also expressed concern regarding reports of life imprisonment sentences against Dr. Mahrang Baloch and Sabghatullah Baloch. Participants voiced solidarity with individuals and activists who advocate for human rights, justice, and the protection of fundamental freedoms.
Throughout the protest, participants chanted slogans demanding truth, justice, and accountability. The demonstration remained peaceful and aimed to raise awareness among the international community, human rights organizations, and the people of South Korea.
BNM South Korea Zone believes that every family has the right to know the fate and whereabouts of their loved ones. The pain of families who continue to wait for missing relatives cannot be ignored.
We call upon the international community, human rights organizations, civil society, and democratic institutions to pay attention to the concerns raised by the families of missing persons and to support efforts aimed at truth, justice, and accountability.
Seventeen years is too long for any family to wait.
We reaffirm our solidarity with Dr. Deen Mohammad Baloch’s family and with all families searching for their missing loved ones.
Truth cannot disappear.
Justice cannot wait.
