At the fourth central committee meeting of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), Faheem Baloch was elected to fill the role of foreign secretary, a position left vacant by the resignation of the previous holder. He had previously served as the coordinator for the Department of Foreign Affairs and was also a member of the Central Committee.
Faham Baloch commenced his political career with the Baloch Students Organization (Azad) and was later elected to the Central Committee. In this role, he was instrumental in fostering unity among various factions of the BSO.
Following the completion of his academic pursuits, he engaged in community service and charitable activities before joining the Baloch National Movement (BNM) in 2007. In April 2022, he was elected as a central councilor, and later that year, he won a candidacy for the central committee during the party elections. By August 2023, he had been appointed as the inaugural coordinator of the BNM’s newly formed Foreign Affairs Department.
He represented the Baloch nation at various international forums, including the United Nations and the British Parliament, actively promoting party diplomacy on a global stage.
He has a Master’s degree in Gender Studies from the University of Portsmouth. His academic research has primarily focused on human trafficking, internally displaced persons within Balochistan, and women’s empowerment.
Following his appointment as Foreign Secretary, members of the Central Committee have expressed optimism that Faheem Baloch will enhance the diplomatic efforts of the Baloch movement.
The Central Committee’s meeting, which extended over two consecutive days and was chaired by Party Chairman Dr. Naseem Baloch, resulted in significant decisions aimed at enhancing organizational efficiency. These decisions are slated to be communicated to party Hankens and Chapters via circulars.
