Germany: The Baloch National Movement (BNM) organized commemorative events in Hannover to honor Baloch martyrs. Photographs of the martyrs were displayed, and a documentary film about their sacrifices was presented to attendees through a projector. People from Baloch, Kurdish, and other communities across various German cities participated in the ceremony.

Speakers included Baloch National Movement (BNM) Chairman Dr. Naseem Baloch, renowned writer Dr. Hanif Sharif, BNM Central Committee member Haji Naseer, BNM Germany Chapter President Sharhasan, Vice President Safiya Baloch, former BNM Germany Chapter President Asghar Baloch, as well as Amara, Barba, Ayfer Özdoga, and others.

Speaking on the occasion, the BNM Chairman stated that from Mehrgarh to Kalat, the Baloch nation’s resistance and sacrifices for national freedom continue to this day. He emphasized that November 13 holds great significance as it marks the British attack on the capital of Balochistan, where Khan Mehrab Khan and 400 of his comrades sacrificed their lives defending the Baloch homeland.

He said that following the martyrdom of Khan Mehrab Khan, the armed struggle against British colonialism spread across Balochistan. The people of Sarawan, Jhalawan, Rakhshan, Sibi, Nasirabad, Koh-e-Sulaiman, and Makuran rose in resistance. While some Sardars (chieftains) collaborated with the British, the people of Balochistan stood firmly against colonial rule.

Dr. Naseem stated that Pakistan inherited Britain’s oppressive policies, occupying Balochistan on March 27, 1948. Agha Abdul Kareem initiated the resistance against this occupation, which continues today as a powerful movement sustained by the sacrifices of the Baloch nation.

The BNM Chairman reaffirmed that the goal of the Baloch nation and this movement is freedom. He pledged to uphold this legacy of resistance until Balochistan attains independence, emphasizing that the tradition of sacrifice and action will persist until the homeland is liberated from all forms of oppression.
