The Vice Chairman of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), Dr. Jalal Baloch, while addressing a joint program of BNM Shaal’s various cells in remembrance of the Mastung martyrs, stated that the sacrifices of Dr. Mannan Baloch and his companions have further strengthened the Baloch national struggle.

On the occasion of the ninth anniversary of Shaheed Dr. Mannan Baloch and the Mastung martyrs, a memorial reference was held in Shaal, attended by various cell representatives. The session was presided over by Shaal’s Cells Coordinator, Ramin Baloch, while the chief guest was Dr. Jalal Baloch.

The event began with the Baloch national anthem, followed by two minutes of silence in honor of the martyrs. The memorial reference was addressed by Dr. Jalal Baloch, Ramin Baloch, Rustam Baloch, and Gwahram Baloch.

Dr. Jalal Baloch emphasized that the path to freedom is a conscious choice, demanding unwavering commitment and sacrifice. Those who dedicate their lives to their homeland attain immortality in the annals of history. The struggle of Shaheed Dr. Mannan Baloch teaches us that true revolutionaries face hardships and dangers with unwavering resolve and a fearless smile. He was a visionary leader, embodying all the qualities of great leadership.

He further stated that Shaheed Babu Nowroz, Shaheed Ashraf Baloch, Shaheed Hanif Baloch, and Shaheed Sajid Baloch were driven by an unshakable love for their nation and willingly embraced martyrdom for the cause of freedom. We can only honor their sacrifices by continuing their mission with the same dedication and determination.

Cells Coordinator Ramin Baloch, in his speech, said that paying mere formal tributes to an extraordinary leader like Shaheed Dr. Mannan is not enough. True homage lies in understanding his vision, learning from his struggle, and embodying his unwavering spirit. Today, the diplomatic and political advancements of the Baloch movement are a direct outcome of the sacrifices made by these martyrs.

He remarked that BNM is a party of martyrs, whose members remain steadfast in their ideology despite relentless state repression. The state mistakenly believed that by eliminating BNM leaders and activists, it could weaken the party. However, history has proven that every martyr’s sacrifice only strengthens the movement, making it even more resolute in its pursuit of national liberation.

He further noted that Dr. Mannan was not only a revolutionary but also a thinker and an intellectual. Such individuals may leave the world physically, but their ideas and legacy continue to inspire generations. The Baloch nation holds the honor of establishing the first national political party against British imperialism in 1920, and today, the same resistance continues against Punjabi colonial rule.

In conclusion, he reaffirmed that as a party, BNM remains committed to carrying forward the struggle with renewed vigor, following in the footsteps of Shaheed Dr. Mannan and his companions. To falter in this mission would be to betray their sacrifices, and that is a debt we can never allow ourselves to bear.
