Amsterdam: The Baloch National Movement (BNM) Netherlands Chapter staged a protest in Amsterdam, against the enforced disappearances of Baloch women by the Pakistani army. Holding banners, posters and placards participants chanted slogans in favor of Baloch national independence and distributed pamphlets to create awareness about Balochistan among the locals.

Addressing the protesters, the former president of the BNM Netherlands chapter Keyya Baloch said it was not the first time that Pakistani forces had abducted Baloch women. Earlier, thousands of Baloch women were forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces in Panjgur, Maskay , Awaraan, Dera Bugti, Kohlo and Kahaan.

Keyya Baloch added, “If Pakistan believe that by abducting Baloch women, it would exert pressure on Baloch men and would make them to surrender and withdraw from the national liberation, then it is their misunderstanding.”

Media Manager of BNM’s Human Rights Department Jamal Baloch in his address said that we appeal to the international community to play its role for the recovery Baloch women and against the enforced disappearances in Balochistan.
