Khalil Baloch, Chairman of Baloch National Movement has paid rich tributes to martyr Dr. Mannan Baloch on his third anniversary. “Leader, intellectual, scholars and political personality like Dr. Mannan Baloch comes after the lapse of centuries”, applauded Khalil Baloch.
Dr Mannan Baloch along with his friends, Nouroz Baloch, Shaheed Ashraf, Hanif Baloch and Sajid Baloch were martyred in the house of Shaheed Ashraf Baloch in Killi Dathoi, Mastung by Pakistan Army, when they were in an organizational visit.
Khalil Baloch commented that the killing of a political leader by security forces, and later on taking the responsibility of his martyrdom by state is indication that state had suffered an ignoble defeat against the political struggle of Dr. Mannan Baloch,and the state of Pakistan had become clueless before his political vision and philosophy; as a result the state targeted him through terrorism.
He further added, “The martyrdom of Dr. Mannan Baloch is one of the greatest loss to the party, as well as to the national struggle. He was an insightful leader and great intellectual, further he was man of action. He is ranked among those political leaders, who staunchly believe and see a national emancipation through political struggle; And for same purpose, he devoted his entire life.”
Khalil Baloch explained, “Dr Mannan Baloch, in the most part of his life, struggled for national freedom. He kept his personal life aside and put party’s works on priority; Even when he embraced martyrdom, was busy in party programs.”
Chairman Khalil Baloch said, “Baloch son and daughters always sacrificed their lives for the national struggle. In this caravan Shaheed Ghulam Mohammad Baloch, Akber Bugti, Dr. Khalid Baloch, Haji Razzaq Baloch, Ustad Ali Jan, Rasool Bakhsh Mengal, Samad Tagraani and thousands of leaders and members were martyred for the national cause, which is continued unflaggingly. The gap which is created with the martyrdom of Dr Mannan Baloch, cannot easily be bridged. Dr Mannan was the real face who shouldered responsibilities to mobilize the organization (BNM).”
BNM chariman maintained, “The martyrdom of Shaheed Ghulam Mohammad Baloch was a clear message of the state that state has pre decided to annihilate Baloch National Movement, but the struggle of Dr Mannan and his colleagues ruined the ambitions of the enemy, and today Baloch National Movement in Balochistan and abroad is playing a vital role in the national struggle.”
