At a public gathering organized by the Baloch National Movement (BNM) in the Mashkay Awaran Zone, speakers declared that Pakistan’s genocidal policies in Balochistan have reached a point where its continued occupation is no longer sustainable.

Addressing the audience, BNM leaders emphasized that the Baloch nation has remained in a constant state of resistance throughout history. Time and again, foreign powers have sought to dominate Baloch land, but the Baloch nation has never surrendered its right to freedom.

Speakers at the event included Iqbal Baloch, BNM’s Welfare Secretary ; Ustad Mehran, President of the Mashkay Awaran Zone; and former organizer Rafiq Baloch. The session was moderated by Talar Baloch, Vice President of the Zone.

They stated that for the past 77 years, the Baloch nation has been struggling for the restoration of its freedom, and today that struggle has entered a decisive phase. The ongoing war for liberation has weakened the occupying Pakistani state to such an extent that its forces now operate from a purely defensive position. Pakistani troops can no longer move freely and are unsafe even within their own camps.

The speakers highlighted that the desperation of the Pakistan army is evident in its brutal actions—firing on peaceful protesters, targeting women and children, and imprisoning civilians. In further violation of law and ethics, military commandos and intelligence operatives now disguise themselves in police uniforms to attack unarmed citizens.

Highlighting the international dimension, the speakers noted that BNM’s leadership has successfully brought global attention to the Baloch cause. Through tireless efforts, BNM activists have exposed Pakistan’s atrocities, and a growing number of people around the world now view the Baloch struggle through the lens of justice and human rights. International organizations are increasingly condemning Pakistan’s violent and repressive policies in Balochistan.

In conclusion, the speakers emphasized that the recent crackdown on the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) and the mass arrests of political activists have made it abundantly clear that the Pakistani state is engaged in systematic criminality. It now fears not just political resistance, but even the Baloch children. Pakistan’s ongoing genocidal campaign is undeniable proof that it can no longer maintain its occupation of Balochistan.
