The Baloch National Movement (BNM) held a protest in Utrecht, Netherlands, condemning the Punjabi Army’s aggression in Zehri, a region in Khuzdar district of occupied Balochistan. The demonstration denounced brutal military raids on homes and drone attacks that claimed the lives of women and children.

The protest was attended by members of the BNM and human rights activists. Participants carried placards and banners bearing slogans against the Punjabi Army’s aggression, enforced disappearances, and widespread human rights violations in Balochistan.

For several days, a strict curfew has reportedly been imposed by the Punjabi Army in Khuzdar, Zehri, and nearby areas. Hundreds of civilians have been forcibly disappeared. Homes have been raided, residents abducted, and civilian movement completely restricted. Meanwhile, media access and internet services have been suspended, making it extremely difficult to obtain accurate information from the affected regions.

Speakers at the protest included BNM Netherlands Chapter President Muheem Abdul Rahim, Dr. Latif, Kiya Kareem, Mahra Baloch, Muhammad Iqbal, Khamis, Wahid Baloch, and Sattar from the Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement.

They stated that the Punjabi Army’s actions in Balochistan have turned into collective punishment against the Baloch nation. They condemned the drone strikes in Zehri that martyred women and children and highlighted the ongoing abductions of unarmed civilians.

The speakers emphasized that decades of Punjabi military aggression in Balochistan have destroyed thousands of families, while international institutions continue to remain silent. This silence, they said, has emboldened the aggressors to commit further atrocities. They warned that if the global community does not act promptly, the situation could become even more catastrophic.

The protesters demanded that the United Nations, European Union, Amnesty International, and other human rights organizations conduct independent investigations into state aggression, enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, and attacks on civilian populations in Balochistan.

They also appealed to the international media to break the blackout on Balochistan and bring the truth before the world, so that the voice of the oppressed Baloch nation can be heard on the global stage.
