Atif Ali, a Baloch refugee in Germany, faces potential deportation. Recognizing the urgency of his situation, the Baloch National Movement (BNM) recently conveyed their concerns by sending a letter to the German authorities.

In the letter, the Foreign Secretary of BNM, Hammal Haider, apprised the relevant authorities of the imminent dangers Atif Ali would likely encounter if forced to return to Pakistan.

The Chairman of BNM, Dr. Naseem Baloch, also utilized social media to highlight this issue. In a post, he shed light on the plight of the Baloch people, who have become victims of state terrorism, compelling them to seek refuge from these heinous acts.

Dr. Naseem Baloch appealed to the United Nations Refugee Agency and the Human Rights Commission, urging them to promptly intervene and take necessary measures to address this distressing matter.

In a plea, Foreign Secretary of BNM Hammal Haider has made an urgent appeal to the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees in Germany to halt the deportation of Baloch activist Atif Ali. Atif Ali is known for his tireless advocacy for the rights of the Baloch people, a nation that has faced widespread human rights violations and persecution by Pakistan.

Reports indicate that if he is deported back to Pakistan, he is at immediate risk of abduction by Pakistani authorities at the airport. Hammal Haidar emphasizes the importance of upholding justice, human rights, and international humanitarian standards and implores the office to reconsider the deportation and protect Atif Ali’s life.

The plea calls for a thorough review of Atif Ali’s case and highlights the grave consequences that await him if sent back to Pakistan. The appeal stresses the need for compassion, empathy, and a commitment to human rights in immigration and asylum matters. Hammal Haidar hopes that the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees will seriously consider the appeal and act to reflect the values of justice, peace, and human rights that the international community strives to uphold.
