BNM-South Korea chapter held a protest in Busan city at Biff Square against the recent waves of enforced disappearances and violence against Baloch women. The purpose of the demonstration was to record a protest against the abduction of Mahal Baloch. Protesters held placards about Mahal Baloch’s abductions and other forcible disappeared Baloch persons.
The protesters delivered speeches on the ongoing atrocities of Pakistan in occupied Balochistan.

Among the protesters 13-year-old Bakhtawar Baloch delivered a speech in Korean Language questioning the silence of international human rights organizations and civilized nations over the violation of the human rights of the Baloch nation.

Bakhtawar Baloch said “I am a middle school student and today we are here protesting against the ongoing genocide in Balochistan. We are here to tell you all about the Baloch genocide by the Pakistani army. We all know the Pakistani army’s seventy-five years of prolonged occupation of Baloch land, Balochistan. From the first day of Balochistan’s occupation, the Baloch nation has been facing the worst form of genocide at the hands of the Pakistani army. I am so disappointed to say that in Balochistan more than 50 thousand Baloch civilians including students, intellectuals, engineers, doctors, political activists, leaders, shepherds even women had been abducted and disappeared by the evil Pakistani army. And recently about one week ago a Baloch woman Mahal Baloch a martyr’s widow and mother of two little girls were abducted by the Pakistani forces during a midnight raid in her home. The Pakistani army verily tortured her over the fake allegations.”

“We want to tell you that we are gathered here not to have fun but the pain has brought us here to ask where are those of all civilized people who always talk about humanity but when the human rights of Baloch nation are being violated then why they remain silent? Do we Baloch have no human rights? Baloch are not considered human beings? Why are our people being killed and disappearing? When we get killed and abducted, no one even asks for them. That is why innocent men and women get abducted and disappear. You know today is my birthday ,normally children of my age celebrate their birthdays happily but how can I celebrate my birthday with the pain and sorrow of my people? My age children in Balochistan are protesting day and night for their missing father and brothers, and they remain ignored by the human rights organisations; no eyes see them and no one’s mouth is open for them. I want to say that we are human as you please treat us like the humans deserve to be treated.”

She appealed It’s my humble request that you please take action against the human rights violations of the Baloch nation. I request all human rights organizations to ask Pakistan for their crimes against humanity in Balochistan and stop the abductions and killings of Baloch people.”

During the protest, hundreds of pamphlets regarding the war crimes and genocide of the Baloch nation were distributed among the public. Protesters also had a march chanting slogans against Baloch women’s abductions and atrocities on Baloch by the Pakistani forces.
