Amsterdam: Baloch National Movement Netherlands Chapter organised a reference in memory of Margaap Martyrs in Amsterdam. At the beginning of the reference, a two-minute silence will be observed in honour of the martyrs.
Abdul Ghani Baloch, a senior activist of BNM Netherlands, said: “Shaheed Ghulam Muhammad gave a vision to the Baloch nation which is politically emerging today. The youth have been forcibly disappeared and locked in their torture cells. And thousands have been martyred, and their mutilated bodies have been thrown away. It is our duty to expose the hideous face of Pakistan.”
Abdul Wahid Baloch, President of BNM Netherlands Chapter, said: ‘‘Waja Ghulam Muhammad and all Baloch martyrs have sacrificed their lives for our future generations. They sacrificed everything for the freedom of Balochistan. Their sacrifice, sincerity and honesty have breathed life into the movement. It is our duty to continue the mission of Waja Ghulam Muhammad, Lala Munir and Sher Muhammad to our goal of independence.”
“The world knows that Pakistan is a lie and a deception. It is necessary to work day and night to destroy this lie and deception forever. So that the souls of our martyrs can be satisfied.” He added.
Addressing the reference, Kiya Baloch, a member of the media department of BNM, said: “If this movement has reached this point today, it is because of the sacrifices of martyrs.”
He shed light on Shaheed Waja Ghulam Muhammad Baloch’s life and said: “He was a great leader. He performed the heavy responsibilities gracefully and played an essential role in making the party active. The Pakistan army abducted and tortured him, but he remained steadfast. On April 3, 2009, the Pakistan army forcibly disappeared Waja Ghulam Muhammad and his companions, Lala Munir and Sher Muhammad Baloch. And on April 9, 2009, their mutilated bodies were found at Murgaap near Turbat, the capital of the Kech district. Their commitment and martyrdom further strengthened the Baloch freedom movement.
“We pledge not to hesitate to sacrifice like our leaders.”
Badria Murad said in her address: “Today is the dark day when our great leader Waja Ghulam Muhammad Baloch and his companions were martyred. Their sacrifices are a beacon for the nation. Following the sacrifices of Murgaap martyrs, today, millions are struggling for freedom. The activists have maintained the tradition of not bowing before the enemy.”
Aliya Baloch said, “Shaheed Waja Ghulam Muhammad was one of the great leaders of the Baloch movement who sacrificed everything for the independence of Balochistan. He wanted a country with justice, equality and brotherhood. Where no one can force anyone, it is the duty of all of us to fulfil this dream.
At the end of the reference, PaanK media coordinator Jamal Baloch said: “Martyr Ghulam Muhammad Baloch, Lala Munir, Sher Muhammad and all Baloch martyrs have handed over this responsibility to us. It is our duty to take it forward sincerely and realise their dream of independent Balochistan. For this, we should always be ready for any sacrifice.
