BNM-AnnualReport-2024-Urdu

This document is not the complete organizational performance report of the Baloch National Movement (BNM) for the year 2024. Instead, it contains only the statistics and details of programs that were publicized in the media. These have been compiled by BNM’s Media Department.

Numerous programs at the unit and cell levels of BNM do not receive media coverage. Similarly, activities of the Party’s Department of Social Welfare, Foreign Affairs Department, and Education and Training Institute are not included in this report and will be presented separately.

Under the management of BNM’s Capacity Building Council (Education and Training Institute), programs are conducted not only at the central level for education and training but also through regular circles at every unit and cell level.

According to a conservative estimate, approximately 312 such organizational programs are held annually. The records of these programs are maintained only by the General Secretary and the respective departments and are therefore not included here.

This report is intended not just to inform the Baloch nation and party members about the party’s performance but also to highlight our successes as well as our shortcomings and weaknesses.

In 2024, BNM organized 19 protest rallies on various occasions in different cities of the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Netherlands, and South Korea.

Five public awareness campaigns were conducted abroad to inform people about the situation in Balochistan.

Two conferences were held by the party, attended by international scholars, representatives from other nations, and politicians.

A high-level debate was organized in the British Parliament, where BNM representatives highlighted the issue of Balochistan and the demand for Baloch national freedom.

Delegations from BNM participated in 11 international events worldwide.

23 commemorative events were held at various times throughout the year, including anniversaries of Baloch leaders, International Day of the Disappeared, March 27 (Occupation Day of Balochistan), August 11 (Complete Independence Day from British Rule), May 28 (Day of Pakistan’s Nuclear Tests in Balochistan), and November 13 (Baloch Martyrs’ Day).

In Geneva, the Chairman of BNM held a press conference to inform journalists about the Baloch Freedom Movement and the situation in Balochistan under Pakistani occupation.

A photographic exhibition in Geneva showcased images by Baloch photographers to highlight issues in Balochistan.

At the central level, eight programs were conducted by the Education and Training Institute or Capacity Building Council.

Five organizational programs were held, including Cabinet Meetings, Central Committee Meetings, and elections for councils and chapters.

Two international letters were sent: one from the Party Chairman to the heads of state of various countries and another from BNM Netherlands to the Dutch government. Both letters focused on the dire human rights situation in Balochistan, requesting international accountability of Pakistan for its occupation and oppression of the Baloch nation.

Sixteen reports were published, mostly monthly reports from BNM’s Human Rights Department. The Department of Social Welfare also released reports containing factual data on various issues in Balochistan.

In total, 150 videos related to party activities were released by the media. Additionally, three special videos on different subjects were produced.

Last year, Zarmbush Publications published five books, most under the supervision of Vice Chairman Dr. Jalal Baloch. The party’s magazine Zarmbush was published twice under the responsibility of Senior Joint Secretary General Kamal Baloch.

Three pamphlets were issued, one webinar was conducted, and five posters were released.

Twenty-five statements were issued to local and international media expressing the party’s stance. These statements came from the Party Chairman, Secretary General, and spokesperson.

Seven hashtag campaigns were run on social media on various topics.

This annual report of BNM indicates that the party has focused more on practical performance rather than relying on social media.
