Chairman of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), Dr. Naseem Baloch, has stated that Pakistan has not only decided to continue its genocidal campaign against the Baloch nation but has opted to intensify it to horrifying levels. At this moment, genocide and collective punishment in Balochistan are reaching unprecedented extremes. Pakistan has abruptly shifted from a slow-moving genocidal process to actively turning Balochistan into a living hell. In this brutality, Pakistan is not merely delivering corpses; it is attempting to wound generations and crush their resolve. But our message is clear: we are prepared to pay this price for our national freedom.

Dr. Naseem Baloch highlighted that in recent weeks, the Pakistan Army has been executing forcibly disappeared individuals in staged encounters. In the Koh-e-Suleiman Mountain range alone, 13 disappeared persons have been killed in four separate fake encounters over the past four months. We know their names, identities, and their innocence. Among them are those who had been forcibly missing for years, whose mothers have been crying out for justice day and night. In addition to these fake encounters, 16 young men from the Buzdar tribe have been forcibly disappeared. From Shaal to Gwadar, from Awaran to Nushkai, every region is witnessing brutal oppression choking the very essence of humanity.

Even a brief glance at recent events reveals a horrifying situation: In Mashkai, the Pakistan Army abducted eight young men from their homes and later dumped their bodies. In the same region, journalist Lala Latif Baloch—previously disappeared and tortured by the Pakistan Army on two occasions—was shot dead in front of his family during a house raid. In Malar Macchi, Awaran, the Pakistani forces launched two attacks on the same family within two days. They killed young Naeem Baloch and Bibi Hoori Baloch inside their home, while many others, including Bibi Daadi Baloch, were injured by gunfire. Similarly, in Jahoo, two young men were abducted from their home, killed, and their bodies dumped.

In another appalling incident, Balochistan University student Mahjabeen Baloch — who suffers from polio — was forcibly disappeared by the army at night from the Civil Hospital hostel. Her brother had already been abducted and remains forcibly disappeared.Tariq Baloch was also forcibly disappeared from Nushkai, and his whereabouts remain unknown. These incidents are all part of the state’s campaign of genocide and collective punishment—designed to silence the Baloch nation, erase their history, and crush their movement for freedom.

Dr. Naseem Baloch further stated that Pakistan is not only trying to suppress the Baloch nation through military force but is also now implementing a new strategy of using religious extremism as a weapon against the Baloch nation. The Baloch National Movement calls upon the United Nations, the European Union, and international human rights organizations to take concrete actions against the ongoing genocide and enforced disappearances in Balochistan. In particular, the UN Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances must intervene immediately, as silence only enables Pakistan to commit further grave crimes.

He emphasized that Baloch mothers, sisters, daughters, and youth who continue their protest with unwavering determination are the highest symbol of our national resistance. The Pakistani state is not only deploying its military forces to crush these protests but is also utilizing death squads and religious militant groups—clear evidence of its moral and political failure. Although we are being targeted, we will not bow down. The state may wish to push its brutality to unimaginable levels, but the Baloch nation has made its decision: we are willing to pay this price for our national freedom.

The Baloch National Movement reaffirms its commitment to advancing the national movement politically and diplomatically, both within Balochistan and on the international stage. Our struggle for human dignity, national freedom, and the survival of our people will continue with even greater determination and effectiveness.
