The BNM diaspora met in Berlin, Germany, on August 12 to discuss world politics and party matters. The general body meeting of the party’s Germany zone was also held simultaneously.
BNM Foreign Secretary Hammal Haidar, Convener North America Dr Zafar Baloch, Deputy Convener Nabi Bakhsh, Convener Europe Region Dr Naseem Baloch and Ghaffar Baloch addressed the meeting. Mohammad Ali Zeb was the stage secretary.
Speakers said that the world situation is changing rapidly and the party’s diaspora activists’ responsibilities have multiplied as Pakistan has totally blocked any political activity in Balochistan. Political workers, if seen, are killed. The state is sponsoring death squads and religious extremists against the Baloch national movement. In such times, only an organized and disciplined party can lead the Baloch nation to freedom.
Speakers said that due to the BNM’s ideology, despite belonging to different areas, all its members were living like a family. This is the proof of party members’ commitment to its cause. To make it fruitful, they need to work in a more organized manner.
In the end, elections of BNM Germany zone were held and Ghaffar Baloch was elected unopposed as President, Mohammad Ali Zeb Vice President and Baba Bohair as Finance Secretary. Asad Baloch and Zafar Ali competed for the position of General Secretary and Zafar Ali won while Adnan Baloch and Niaz Baloch competed for the position of Deputy Secretary and Adnan Baloch won. The chairman of Election Committee Hammal Haidar took oath from the new elected cabinet.
