Ustad Mehran, President of the Baloch National Movement (BNM) Mashkay Awaran Hankin (Zone), visited various units within the zone.

During this visit, two new units (Bunzah), consisting of 27 members, were established and named after Shaheed Ali Jan and Shaheed Agha Abid Shah.

While visiting, the zone president met with party members and supporters to discuss domestic, regional, and global politics and organizational matters and addressed their meeting.

He highlighted that the Baloch nation has long fought for its survival and protection of its homeland against invaders. In the past, the Baloch successfully defended their existence and land from foreign occupiers. However, after March 27, 1948, the Baloch nation faced a new type of occupier, unlike the Portuguese or British. This new occupier, though weak and cowardly on the battlefield, excels in deceit, hypocrisy, and cruelty.

Ustad Mehran further explained that this state has exploited the resources of the Baloch and other subjugated nations under the guise of Islam. It has never revealed its true objectives to the Baloch nation, always acting treacherously.

In response to questions from party members, he stated that the functioning of BNM is satisfactory. The leadership of BNM has consistently made sacrifices and worked tirelessly for the development of the party and the movement. Party programs continue, and the organization remains structured and active.

He acknowledged that due to the state’s crackdown on BNM, the party cannot operate openly. Merely mentioning BNM’s name can cause issues, but despite this, the party continues to exist in Balochistan and remains active in every region. For the past two years, BNM Mashkay Awaran Hankin has worked consistently, with evident results. Many party members are active and fulfilling their responsibilities.

He stressed that the people make the party organized, stable, and strong. As we connect with BNM and work towards its goals, the party will strengthen. A strong BNM is vital because it guarantees a strong Baloch movement.

Addressing the new members, the president of Hankin noted that the work of the movement cannot be imposed on others; each of us must take responsibility for our role. BNM is not just a party for one age group, gender, class, or profession—it is the party of the entire Baloch nation.
