On August 11th, 2024, the Baloch National Movement distributed pamphlets across several cities in the Netherlands to commemorate Balochistan’s brief independence in 1947 and draw attention to its ongoing struggle for freedom. The pamphlet, titled “A Call for Support and Solidarity,” urges the international community to recognize the plight of the Baloch people, who have faced severe oppression since Pakistan’s occupation in 1948. It highlights the unique role of Baloch women in the resistance and calls for global advocacy against the ongoing human rights violations in Balochistan. The movement appeals to the people of the Netherlands and European leaders to stand in solidarity with Balochistan’s quest for justice and independence.
