“Upon his death, we have lost a most veteran, committed and comprehensible politician.” Khalil Baloch

Khalil Baloch, the chairman of the Baloch National Movement expressed deep grief over the death of senior party leader Waja Muhammad Hussain Baloch and said that with his death, BNM lost a senior leader, a sincere and devoted friend. The demise of Mohammad Hussain Baloch is a huge loss which is difficult to compensate.

Chairman Khalil Baloch said that Waja Muhammad Hussain Baloch was a seasoned, committed and an astute politician in Baloch national politics. He played a significant role in organizing Baloch National Movement (BNM) and the independence movement. He was one of the first colleagues of Chairman Ghulam Muhammad Baloch. He was truthful, brave and a man of great wisdom. The horrendous atrocities and repression of the enemy, the martyrdom of two young sons, the old age and numerous diseases failed to weaken Waja Mohammad Hussain’s invincible courage. The tombs of the two young sons, the displacement of the family and the ruins of the house witness that Pakistan suffered a defeat from his courage, bravery, and love for the land.

He said that Waja Muhammad Hussain was well educated and a scholar. Hundreds of books were shelved in his library at home. Whenever the forces of the enemy raided his house, the library their first target. The invading army looted the books and bulldozed his house. He always remained busy in reading or engaged himself in scholarly discussions.

Khalil Baloch applauded Waja Muhammad Hussain Baloch, “Every member of the Baloch National Movement is the heir to his ideas. Every child of the Baloch nation feels proud to be committed to the ideas and philosophy of Waja Muhammad Hussain.”

Chairman Khalil Baloch said that it was the result of the training and his love for the Baloch national struggle that his entire family was a part in the caravan of national freedom struggle. His two young sons embraced martyrdom, and daughters are still playing an active role.

Khalil Baloch expressed his grief and said, “I extend my condolences to the family of Waja Muhammad Hussain and pray that Almighty God grant him an esteemed place in paradise.”
