London: On March 27, 2023, Baloch National Movement UK held a demonstration and distributed pamphlets in front of the British Prime Minister’s House in London regarding the day of Pakistani occupation of Balochistan.
On this occasion, a petition was also submitted at the British Prime Minister’s residence highlighting the historical fact of the forced annexation of Balochistan. And they were urged to take immediate action against Pakistani aggression in Balochistan.
During the demonstration, BNM Junior Joint Secretary Hasan Dost Baloch, World Sindhi Congress General Secretary Dr. Lakho Lohana, BNM Central Committee Member Niaz Baloch, BNM UK Chapter President Manzoor Baloch, UK Chapter Ex. President Hakeem Baloch, Abdullah Baloch, Kambar Malik Baloch of BHRC and Mahnaz Baloch addressed the protestors.
On this occasion, BNM leaders said that BNM’s continuous efforts to raise awareness about Balochistan’s illegal occupation remind the need for justice and freedom of Baloch people.
The protesters raised slogans against Pakistan’s illegal occupation of Balochistan and the brutality of Pakistani forces in Balochistan.
The speakers said on this occasion that with the help of Britain, Pakistan occupied Balochistan and since then, atrocities have been committed against Baloch.It is the responsibility of Britain and other countries of the world to fulfil their humanitarian duty to free the Baloch nation from these atrocities and to help the Baloch nation in restoring independence of Balochistan.
They said that when Pakistan occupied Balochistan, the resistance of the Baloch nation started against this occupation.
Whatever means the Baloch used to gain their freedom, Pakistan responded with force and cruelty.Peaceful political activists were forcibly disappeared and killed.Collective punishments are being given to the Baloch nation for demanding freedom.Many political leaders of the Baloch nation have been forcibly disappeared and imprisoned in torture cells or martyred by the Pakistani army.
They said that the Baloch nation must gain independence from Pakistan through its organised struggle; this is the only way for the survival of the Baloch nation, security, peace and development of the region.The world should support the movement of independent Balochistan to establish peace.
