Shaal: The Baloch nation mourns the loss of Mubarak Qazi, whose poetic journey spanning five decades was deeply rooted in Baloch culture.

Dr. Naseem Baloch, chairman of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), highlighted Qazi’s invaluable contributions to literature and society during his speech at the ‘Activist Assembly’ (Jhudkarani Patar) organized by the party.

The program, organized by Chairman Kamal Baloch, began with a solemn tribute to Mubarak Qazi, followed by heartfelt tributes from members of the Baloch National Movement.

Dr. Naseem Baloch emphasized that Qazi’s poetry throughout the years embodied revolution, resistance, and the sentiments of the Baloch people. As a dedicated participant in national politics, Qazi endured imprisonment and torture, serving as an unwavering symbol of commitment to the movement. His son, Dr. Kambar Qazi, followed in his father’s footsteps, combining resistance with poetic prowess under his guidance.
Dr. Naseem acknowledged that news of Mubarak Qazi’s passing had deeply saddened the Baloch nation in today’s era of social media. He described Qazi as a unique personality known for his fearless conversations and disdain for deceitful behavior, earning him respect and admiration among his people. While some may have previously mentioned seeing him with a bottle of wine, his countless admirable qualities overshadowed such things.

The BNM chairman shared a heartwarming example of the Baloch nation’s love for Mubarak Qazi, mentioning that Anjuman-e-Tajiran Pisni had closed their shops as a tribute to the late poet. He expressed his belief that this gesture should have been replicated across Balochistan. People from all walks have expressed profound grief upon hearing the news of his passing. The chairman concluded that Mubarak Qazi’s remarkable character will ensure his legacy is remembered with great reverence.
