Baloch National Movement (BNM) Chairman Dr. Naseem Baloch stated that we will resist any country that exploits our resources, whether it is China or any other global power. No one should assume that our resistance is directed solely at China. If another power rises tomorrow, the Baloch will not simply stand by. No one should live under this illusion.

He made this remark during the ‘Zonal Council’ meeting of Shaheed Anwar Advocate, Kech-Gwadar Zone.

He added that another power might one day step in to challenge China in Balochistan, trade Baloch resources with Pakistan, and assume that since the Baloch resisted China, they won’t oppose them. But this is not the case—we will resist anyone who threatens our interests and defend Baloch rights.

The chairman pointed out that changes are happening around us. A similar sudden shift occurred previously in a neighboring country with which we have long-standing relations. Although we were unprepared for that situation, we must now anticipate such changes and be ready. We need to understand global dynamics. We live under occupation by a force whose interests are tied to other nations in the region, and we must examine this carefully and consider our future.

He stressed that today we must reflect on which forces Pakistan is aligning with to secure its interests. If our positions are constrained, no other power should expect to follow the same approach in Balochistan.

The chairman also referenced the policy adopted by the party 14 years ago, during the 2014 session, concerning neighboring countries. He said that the effects of the policy we formulated a decade ago are now becoming clear. We have made progress by working on this policy. While every policy has some negative consequences, this one has yielded positive outcomes for us and other freedom-struggling organizations.

Dr. Naseem Baloch stated that the core goal of our struggle is the independence of Balochistan from Pakistan. We must spread the message of freedom to as many people as possible and encourage those living in Baloch Gulzamin (Homeland) to join our party and support our cause.

He emphasized the need to actively engage in outreach to advance BNM’s work in Gulzamin, raising awareness about the organization and the struggle, and making this a central part of our responsibilities.

The chairman expressed great satisfaction with the report presented by Gwadar Zone’s deputy organizer. He congratulated the newly elected officials and, drawing on his own experience working in various organizational roles within and outside Balochistan, praised the report as commendable. He expressed hope for even better performance in the future.

He noted that the success of the central officials comes from the hard work of the organization’s members, and that their efforts lead to appreciation and achievement. The central leadership is responsible for overseeing key areas, such as media and training curriculum development.

The chairman stressed the importance of strengthening the party’s constitutional institutions, improving coordination between them, and ensuring their individual effectiveness. For example, when the Foreign Department carries out activities, it needs support from both the Human Rights and Media Departments. By working together and coordinating efforts, tasks become easier and take on a more comprehensive form. We should ensure that future generations do not have to start from scratch. Progress and improvement will be evident when results are achieved.

During the meeting, the organizing committee of the Kech-Gwadar Zone was dissolved, and elections were held. The newly elected President, Baba GR; Vice President, Bahaar Baloch; Secretary, Jehand Baloch; Deputy Secretary, Banuk Zenal Baloch; and Finance Secretary, Sayed Baloch, took the oath of allegiance to the party and the movement, administered by the Chairman.
