On May 28, the Baloch National Movement (BNM) organized a protest rally and demonstration in Amsterdam against the nuclear tests conducted by Pakistan in Chagai, Balochistan, on May 28, 1998, and to highlight their lasting impacts.

The protest rally began from Amsterdam Central Station and continued to Dam Square, where participants raised awareness about the long-term effects of the nuclear explosions on the people and environment of Balochistan. Protesters carried banners and placards displaying their demands and concerns.

The rally was led by Mahra Baloch and Muhammad Muheem, who also raised slogans during the march. Participants expressed solidarity with the people of Balochistan and called on the international community to pay greater attention to the issues faced by the region.

At Dam Square, several speakers addressed the gathering and shared their views on the significance of the day and the continuing impacts of the 1998 nuclear tests. Speakers included Mahra Baloch, Dr. Latif Baloch, Kiyya Karim, Netherlands Chapter President Muheem Abdul Rahim, and Vice President Waheed Majeed. The speakers emphasized the environmental, social, and political consequences of the nuclear tests and highlighted the importance of raising a voice for the freedom and rights of the Baloch people.

At the conclusion of the protest, participants reaffirmed their commitment to continue raising global awareness about Balochistan and the issues faced by its people through ongoing awareness campaigns and advocacy efforts.
