A large number of the Baloch and Sindhi community members gathered at Trafalgar Square,
London to demonstrate against enforced disappearances, torture, kill and dump of social and political activists in Pakistan. It also raised voice against China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects in Balochistan and Sindh and increased violence against religious minorities in Pakistan.
The event was organized by Sindhi Baloch Forum, in collaboration with World Baloch Organization (WBO), Baloch National Movement (BNM), World Sindhi Congress (WSC), Baloch Human Rights Council UK (BHRC-UK), Baloch Students Organisation – Azad (BSO-Azad).
The demonstrators took a procession from Trafalgar Square to 10 Downing Street. Participants were holding placards and raising slogans to highlight heinous crimes being
committed by Pakistani security agencies in Balochistan and Sindh.
Mr Nooruddin Mengal, Dr Alam Shah and Dr Lakhu Luhana spoke at the rally and told the
participants that Pakistan is committing crimes against humanity in Balochistan and Sindh.
They strongly condemned the abduction of Baloch women and children by Pakistani agencies and requested the international committee to press upon Pakistani state to stop the atrocities against Baloch and Sindhi people.
At the end of protest a petition was submitted to the British Prime Minister, requesting to use her influence for the establishment of an international commission to investigate crimes against humanity being perpetrated by Pakistani security agencies in Sindh and Balochistan.
